Stay

High-end finishes, floral touches, and curated decor throughout make the space feel elegant yet comfortable. Make Someday memories to the soundtrack of gentle waves in the backyard of the Great Smoky Mountains! The homes’ vaulted wood tongue-and-groove ceilings add a cozy cabin feel, while oversized windows frame views of the water and mountains.

Enjoy fresh air while rejuvenating in the grand soaking tub overlooking the lake. Fill your mug at the coffee bar and sip slowly as you take in the stunning surroundings from one of the three covered patios, rain or shine. Gather at the adorable built-in breakfast nook. During the summer months, wander down the grassy hill and walk to the water’s edge to take a dip!

After a day on the lake, grill out or cook in on the classic Hallman stove. Slide open the pass-thru window and serve drinks to friends outside while boats hum by. On a chilly day, gather inside while the fire crackles in the living room and play a game of pool while music plays from the stereo

Don’t worry about tracking in the outdoors! Come in off of the lake through the back door where you’ll find a fully stocked mud room with washer/dryer and laundry sink. For indoor enjoyment, stream your favorite shows from any TV in the house or pull out the games and cards supplied! Park up to three cars in the private driveway for ease and read on for boat and trailer parking information.

The Community

In the backyard, you are just steps away from the main channel where you’ll have year-round water views even when levels are low in the winter. Walk down the grassy hill to the water’s edge or open the front door and head out to your own private walking trail that connects a handful of exclusive waterfront homes. Take a quiet stroll morning, noon, or night. Within the gates, Waterside offers a first-come/first-serve day dock to launch your boat and dry dock spots for overnight parking. Don’t worry if you aren’t bringing your own! Several companies offer rentals nearby. A community saltwater pool overlooks the lake with grills, covered picnic area, and restrooms. The dock and pool are a two minute drive from the cottage.
